I had a fabulous and colorful Easter!
I’m not religious, so my favorite thing about Easter is the celebration of spring — every thing’s so vibrant and colorful (at least here in the Bay Area)! The three-cornered leek in my backyard are in full bloom, so I chopped a few of them up and threw them into the devilled eggs — they’re a bit like green onion, but with a stronger, more garlicky flavor.
I made these in celebration of the holiday, but I think I need to remind myself that there’s no reason I can’t make myself colorful food year-round. Who says pretty eggs are only an Easter thing?
